Join us in welcoming Dale Hewitt of the Georgetown County Fire EMS Department as the newest member of our Team. Dale is a nineteen-year veteran of the Fire Service.
His career includes time as a volunteer for both Georgetown County and Georgetown City before joining the City department as a paid firefighter in 2004. In October 2006, Dale joined the County department as a Firefighter/EMT. He was promoted to his current rank of Lieutenant in the County department in 2007 and currently holds that position. He received his initial peer team training in August, 2018.
Dale has been married for seventeen years to his wife, Jessica, who is an ER nurse at Georgetown Memorial Hospital. They have two sons, Jayden, age 13 and Cade, age 10. Dale will join our other Grand Strand Region members in our Firefighter, EMS, and 911 Telecommunicator Teams.
We are pleased to have Dale, Jessica, and their sons join our Lowcountry Support Team family.
