Today was another amazing day for our Team! The Southern Roots Smokehouse on East Montague in North Charleston hosted a great fundraiser for us to raise money to provide special training to our peer team members. Special thanks to Matt Hester and all his folks for making us welcome. We are already looking forward to the next time. The event was organized by Bryan Costello of the Charleston Fire Department supported by Charleston Fire Department Local 61. There are so many people to thank for their contributions today including all who attended to enjoy some amazing barbeque. We made so many new friends and renewed quite a few old ones. Thanks to the Fire & Iron and the Red Knights Motorcycle Clubs for coming as the sound of many rumbling motorcycles is only trumped by a wound-up Federal Q Siren. Thanks to our Team members, David, Patsy, C.J., Sherie, , Steve, Amanda, Reggie, Raymond, Todd, and Kelly for coming out to help us have a successful fundraiser. And, by the way, we blew past our original goal to raise enough money to have our training several times.
