We are pleased to share the news that Diane Woods, formerly of the Tega Cay Fire Department in York County has joined our Team where she will serve with our other Grand Strand region team members. Diane and her husband, Les, also a longtime Fire Service member, have retired to North Myrtle Beach and we feel blessed to have Diane join us. Diane and Les are well-known in the Fire Service throughout the Southeast where they have been the Fire-Life Safety movement for years. Diane is a former nurse, has specialized training to work with cancer patients, is a certified SC firefighter, and a Fire and Life Safety Educator. She has also been trained as a Junior Fire Setter Intervention Specialist, has served on the York County Coroner’s Care Team and the SC FAST Team. We are excited to have Diane as a member of our Team and expect to take advantage of her many talents. It is obvious by this photo here that Diane and Les are inseparable so we know his talents will be available to those we serve as well. Hopefully, we can convince Les to become an official member of our Team but we will let him get accustom to retirement for a while.
