We are proud tonight to congratulate two people who are an important part of our Team for their recent accomplishments.
Jared Hershberger, our Charleston EMS Team Coordinator has been promoted to Assistant Chief for Charleston County EMS. Jared came to our Lowcountry EMS Support Team in 2017 when he joined many others to be trained a peer team member. He has represented us well and has been responsible for taking care of many of our EMS brothers and sisters.
Many of you may not know but Stacy Green is the creator of the “Operation Zzz” weighted blanket program that provides weighted blankets to our first responders. She recruited our Team in 2017 to continue the program of sewing these blankets. Thanks to Marci-Jo Mishoe and the Steinberg Law Firm as our primary sponsor, the program has served over 400 first responders to date with many blankets on the sewing table yet to be finished. Stacy has also been promoted to Assistant Chief for Charleston County EMS.
Congratulations Jared and Stacy. We are proud of you both!
