This program is a hard hitting, straight forward look at the Fire Service of today and the traditions of the past that have shaped it. It addresses firehouse etiquette, laying ground rules, mindset and right versus effective. This program offers and honest evaluation of where we are today in the Fire Service. It is a hard-hitting program not for the faint of heart or for those who have a thin skin.
It will hopefully have all in attendance, volunteer or paid, rookie or chief officer, doing some soul searching that will benefit all who call themselves a firefighter. We promise you will be enlightened and your love of being a firefighter will be strengthened.
This program is presented by Lee Hopkins, Hartsville Fire Department, Retired, and the Pee Dee Coordinator of the Lowcountry Firefighter Support Team. He is known and loved throughout our state as an amazing speaker and instructor as well as an strong advocate for improving behavioral health care for all of our emergency services personal and their families.
