Our “Operation Zzz” weighted blanket program will soon reach 450 blankets sewn and delivered to our first responders.
This program is being sponsored again for the seventh consecutive year by the Steinberg Law Firm LLC of Goose Creek. We are forever indebted to them for their wonderful support. And certainly, our very own Marci-Jo Mishoe continues to be the one who makes it all happen. Just last week, she finished the largest blanket to date as she delivered a blanket for a person who is 6’8″ and weighs 350 lbs. It was a remarkable piece of work requiring her to stand on a stepladder to display it.
