We are pleased to share that Gina Hovis of Rock Hill has joined our Team as a Peer Team member. We have been associated with Gina for many years during our work with the SC FAST Team and through the SC Public Safety Chaplains Association where she served as a Spiritual Director for 4 years.
Gina has a significant background of training in the CISM world, completing the ICISF Pastoral Intervention I & II and the Group Crisis Intervention programs as well as the Federation of Fire Chaplains Trauma, PTSD and Moral Injury courses. She has been assisting our Team in the Rock Hill, Fort Mill, York County, and over into North Carolina for some time and we are happy to include her on our roster of amazing peer team members.
One of Gina’s specialties is teaching relaxation, mindfulness, and self-care and we are excited about her bringing her expertise in these subjects to our Team.
Gina is married to Trey Hovis, a Chief in the Rock Hill Fire Department, and is the mother of two adult children, Evan and Carmen. Please help us welcome Gina to our Team!
