We are pleased to announce that Madison Trevino has joined our Team in a support position. She will be participating with us in our community outreach programs and other activities and will train to be a peer team member in the future.
Maddy comes to us from the Township 6 Fire Department in Craven County, North Carolina. She is certified as a Firefighter 1 and 2 in North Carolina and holds a certificate in hazardous materials operations and rapid intervention training as well. She has also trained in multiple phases of technical rescue including confined space, structural collapse, trench rescue, and vehicle, water, and wilderness rescue.
She entered the fire service when she was 17 years old and has for some time now has worked to prepare herself to be a career firefighter.
She comes highly recommended by her Chief from the Township 6 Fire Department, and we look forward to her involvement with our Team. Please join us in welcoming Maddie to Charleston.
