We are pleased to share that the City of North Charleston Fire Department has transferred ownership of “Brenda” their pink fire truck to our Team to continue its mission of supporting research and related programs to women’s cancer initiatives.

“Brenda” was originally dedicated by the City in 2011 to Brenda Cawley, who showed brave resolve and was an inspiration to others in their fight against cancer. In addition, all city employees who have battled cancer are specifically acknowledged on the fire truck. Many thanks to Mayor Keith Summey and Chief Greg Bulanow, for their generosity and trust in allowing us to be a part of this continuing mission.

We would also like to thank our friends and supporters of “The Point” Women’s Group on the Sea Islands of Charleston for their continuous support of our Team and this amazing project.

“Brenda” can be requested for an event by contacting the The Lowcountry Firefighter Support Team or at info@firefightersupport.org.
