This weekend, we conclude our event schedule for observance of Cancer Awareness Month by taking our pink fire truck “Brenda” to the Hilton Hotel in Nexton for the “Crop for a Cure” that raised money for women’s cancer research. It was an amazing event with several hundred women in attendance. We gained lots of new signatures (and friends!) and messages on Brenda as participants made us feel at home.
Many thanks to all of them for their dedication to the cause! We were blessed to have adults and children there along with “Tater Tot” and her Momma! We are already looking forward to next year!
