In recent weeks, you have seen several photos of our latest team vehicle. The Chevrolet Tahoe was formerly a Chief’s car in the City of Charleston Fire Department and served the CFD for many years. Our Team is fortunate to be able to have these vehicles donated to us to continue their service to our emergency services world. We also have a Chevrolet Impala from the North Charleston Fire Department and a Dodge Durango from the Windy Hill Fire Department in Florence County. When you stand at the right angle, you can see the shadows of the names of the donor departments on the doors covered by our Team logo. We thought about having the doors painted but we enjoy the history of where they came from, as our tribute to those who support us.
A little paint and wax and a ton of hard work go a long way in turning these vehicles into valuable assets to our Team. It also gives us an opportunity to show that we too understand pride and ownership.
Also, thank you to our teammates, Todd J Musselman and Kelly Tague Musselman, Jason D. Hawkins, Jon Schebesta, and all the others that contributed their time and talent to the restoration process on the vehicles. We are also thankful for Laura Meehan and her amazing crew, Nick and Misty, of Signs ASAP in Summerville, for their contribution to the new graphics that really brought the project to life!
