Our Team was excited today to unveil the newest addition to the vehicles we use to support our emergency services personnel in our community outreach program. The 1984 Harley Davidson is owned by our Team Leader, David Reindollar, NCFD Retired. He has owned it for quite some time as he converted it to Fire Service use several years ago. It started out as a police motorcycle before David and his son, Dawson, worked their magic on it. They recently disassembled it and reworked it to what you see here in the photos.
Since we always name our vehicles in our program i.e., “Road Runner”, “Big John”, we are now searching for a name for our motorcycle. We are asking for your help! Please suggest names that would be appropriate for it. We are running a contest until Sunday, March 22nd. Include your suggestions by posting them here.
The winner, to be announced on Monday, March 23rd, will be awarded a Lowcountry Firefighter Support Team t-shirt and a twenty-five-dollar ($ 25.00) gift card to Logan’s Steakhouse. Come on folks, open those creative minds. We will also place a decal on the bike giving you the credit for naming it. Look at these photos to give you some ideas. It is Mack themed to be a part of a display with our three Mack fire engines.
Also, the motorcycle is available to be displayed at your events, so let us know if we can help you.
