Often, we tend to avoid reaching out when we need help. Sometimes, we convince ourselves that our problems will go way, or that we don’t need help. Sometimes, we refrain from seeking help because we don’t want to be judged. We tell ourselves that “it will pass”, “they won’t understand”, “it will show weakness” or a host of other reasons to justify our reluctance to ask for help.
Guess what? We understand the reluctance because we have experienced it too. I would venture to say that all of us, on all three of our Teams, have at some time used those reasons or excuses to not get help.
We believe that regardless of our position in life that “we all have a story”. Each of us has experienced sadness, tragedy, family problems, relationship issues, financial problems, illness, and a host of other problems that rob us of the happiness we deserve. “it’s okay not to be okay”, but it is not okay to avoid help so easily available.
Our Team only claims to work for your well-being. We have no smoke and mirrors, no magic, or no tricks up our sleeves. Give us an opportunity to help you when the need arises. Give us the opportunity to be a “listening ear”. We are here because we care about you and your families. Take care of yourselves…
