Join us as we congratulate our Berkeley County EMS Team Coordinator, Laura Stephenson, on her announcement of her departure from EMS after 20.5 years to become an Engineer/Paramedic for the Whitesville Fire Department. Laura was instrumental in the development of our Lowcountry Firefighter Support Team in the early years and she was one of our original EMS Support Team members when we organized it in 2017. She stepped up then to become our Berkeley County EMS Coordinator when we expanded our support team activities to our EMS counterparts.
We are thrilled for many reasons! She is now returning to the fire department full time, she will continue to serve our EMS Team as a Coordinator, she will continue to be available to assist our first responders that have received her guidance over the years, and we will still have her experience and wisdom on our Team. We love you, Laura, to the moon and back, and wish you the best in your new position!
April Miller, Laura’s EMS Co-Coordinator in Berkeley County, will remain as our Berkeley County EMS Support Team Coordinator to create a win-win situation for us all.
