These are difficult days. Stress and anxiety have risen for all of us. We are seeing an increase in the number of you experiencing that stress and anxiety.

The curfews, quarantines, closed businesses and schools, curtailed services, and empty store shelves are a lot to absorb in addition to all the other things we are facing daily. But rest assured our friends, we will get through this crisis. Why? Because we believe in each other, believe in our way of life, and believe we can survive. We’re not here to fan the flames of hysteria, talk about how important our toilet paper is to us, fight with each other over whether this is some sort of government conspiracy or whether the Democrats or the Republicans caused it.

What we are here for is to let you know we are ready to help you and your families. We are already seeing an increase in the numbers of people asking for counseling help. We are blessed in our state in having trained peer level and clinical level help to serve all of you. We are in constant contact with our peer team members and our clinicians to facilitate your needs. If you are unable to come in, we can come to you. Our peer team is available, and we have Telehealth clinicians on our Team that can provide services via cell phone or computers, if that need arises.

Please don’t struggle alone. Call us at 843-609-8300 for assistance. We will be here for you and your families. And, please remember our Team mantra, “A Leap of Faith”. Faith in each other, faith in our community, and faith in the Good Lord.

Be safe….

Gerald
