Our Team thrives on the amazing people who support us every day. We are humbled by the support we receive from so any in our community.

Today was no different as we received help from one of those friends who came to our aid. Last Friday, while traveling with our Road Runner Mack to the Veteran ‘s Victory House Christmas Parade, we suffered a blown tire in Cottageville. We stopped at the Genesis Auto Sales where we were allowed to leave the truck there until after the parade. The folks there called all their contacts to try to find a tire for us while we went on to Walterboro for the parade. When we returned, they had not been able to locate a tire due to the size and age of the old one. After a call to Chief Barry McRoy in Colleton County Fire Rescue, he sent the CCFR mechanic and a Battalion Chief to help us. Since we had one tire still up, we decided to drive slow and limp it to Hill Tire in Walterboro.

After checking the CCFR shop, we found one old tire of the right size. Thanks to the Hill Tire folks for mounting it so we could get the truck back to North Charleston. After contacting our friend Dave Alley of D & S Tire Company in Summerville, Dave located four new tires of the proper size and today, he and his sidekick Austin rolled up to the office with four brand new tires for us. The Road Runner is now back in service with good tires all around thanks to them.

Let me tell you, the Leap of Faith continues to work for us every day. This tire story is just one example of how it works. There were twelve different people who provided their support to get this problem solved. Thanks to every one of them!

Pictured here are Dave Alley and Austin Spell who manhandled the old tires off and the new tire on today. You guys rock!
