Please join us in welcoming the newest member to our Lowcountry 911 Telecommunicator Support Team. Camille Hobeb is employed as a call taker for the Berkeley County 911 Center. She believes her experience in communicating with those who reach out for help in her work environment will enable her to be an effective peer team member. She comes to us highly recommended by our Berkeley County 911 Support Team Coordinator, Ashley Taylor, who says that Camille has a natural ability to communicate with others and that she exhibits compassion to help those in need.
Interestingly, Camille has previous training as a licensed cosmetologist and states that her work in that role prepared her to help people by being a good listener. Our Team is truly diverse and has many members who have used other professions, training, and experience to enhance their ability to be effective peer team members. It will be interesting to watch Camille grow as a member of our Team.
