We are proud to share with you that Allyson Coleman, better known as “Ally,” in our world, has joined our Team. Ally has served in many different roles during her career and becoming a member of our Team is her latest endeavor. She began her career in 2015 as a volunteer firefighter for Dorchester County Fire Rescue. She is now a full-time career firefighter for St. Paul’s Fire Department in southern Charleston County.
In between those positions, she has served as a Telecommunicator for Med Trust EMS and MUSC. As a MEDUCARE dispatcher and she has been trained as a “flight follower” charged with the responsibility of staying in constant touch with the medical helicopters during their flights.
She believes in living by example and has shared that she has received therapy for some of the traumatic events she has experienced. We believe that experience will enhance her ability to help others as she develops her skills with our Team.
