During these difficult times, we all share the hope that we will return to some normalcy in the future. Being restricted to our homes or in our travels continue to make things surreal. Look around at things you may have not noticed before. Neighborhood children playing in the confines of their yard, the beautiful sunshine and the warmth it provides, watching and listening to others speaking positive things on Facebook, or just hearing from friends and family “just to check on you”, helps us understand that despite these uncertain times, our lives will get better.

Several weeks ago, we undertook a project to restore the sign in front of our office in hopes it would add inspiration to those who drive past. We receive comments and phones calls regularly so we believe it is serving its’ purpose.

Today, I received a text message and photo from our brother, Capt. Mike Salvo of the North Charleston Fire Department. He and his wife Megan provide landscaping services for our office and today they surprised us by landscaping our sign with shrubs, flowers, and pine straw. What a great gesture that lifted our spirits! Thanks to them for their commitment to our Team. We sincerely appreciate it. By the way, Megan, your touch did not go unnoticed!
