As we move into the future, we continue to evaluate how we can best serve our emergency services personnel and their families. That includes providing the appropriate leadership to our individual teams, whether it be the Firefighter, EMS or 911 Telecommunicator Support Team. As we work to improve our services, we are proud to share when other team members move into leadership roles.
Today, we are announcing that Ashley Taylor of the Berkeley County 911 Center has accepted the position of our 911 Support Team Coordinator for Berkeley County. Ashley has been a member of our Lowcountry 911 Telecommunicator Support Team since its’ inception in 2018 and it is exciting that she now will assume a leadership role as we continue to move into the future.
Ashley was born in Berkeley County and raised in the Macedonia community. Her husband also Ashley, and she have two boys, Ryan and Rhett. She began her career as a Telecommunicator in Berkeley County in 2011 and in 2013 began training new hires and realized it was her calling. She was selected for the Position of Training Officer in March of 2016 where she quickly learned she could have an impact on those she trained and mentored.
It was a natural fit for Ashley to help us start the Lowcountry 911 Telecommunicator Support Team in 2018 and we are thrilled to have her accept her new leadership position.
Join us in congratulating and welcoming Ashley to her position!
