We are excited to welcome two new members to our Lowcountry EMS Support Team. Andrea Hamilton and Jeremy Sommerfeldt are currently employed with Dorchester County EMS and will join our Dorchester EMS Team Coordinator Jennifer Brown and Teammate Patsy Helzer to strengthen our Dorchester County effort.
Dreya has been employed by DCEMS since 2002 and is currently a Nationally Registered Advanced EMT and a Field Training Officer where she loves training new hires. Additionally, she serves on the DCEMS Safety Committee. She has also worked PRN as a Medical Technician for Summerville Medical Center for five years.
Jeremy has been employed by DCEMS since 2013 where he is a Nationally Registered Paramedic and a Crew Chief. Additionally, he serves as the Co-Chairman of the EMS Wellness and Resiliency Team and the Safety Committee and is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.
Both Dreya and Jeremy bring their amazing talent and dedication to the team to serve our EMS brothers and sisters. Please join us in welcoming them to our Lowcountry Team! We are truly blessed to have them.
