We have learned that Wendy Lee, the former Asst. Director of Dorchester County EMS and the Chief of Berkeley County EMS, is having another surgery today to remove a tumor from her pituitary gland.
Wendy is a well-known leader in the emergency services of our State and is a dear friend to all that know her. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her and her family as she undergoes this procedure for a second time in as many months. It is a delicate and precise operation, and we pray for the doctors, nurses, and other caregivers who will take care of her. Wendy, we are all praying for you and look forward to seeing you back soon!
