We are pleased to introduce our newest member to our Team. Melissa Clifford is a firefighter in the Mount Pleasant Fire Department and joined the department in the Fall of last year. She is originally from Chicago and received her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Sage College of Albany in Upstate New York.
Melissa came to Charleston at the urging of her twin sister Meghan and they live in Mt. Pleasant. Her passion in life is to help others and while in college worked with sexual assault survivors and created an internship where she educated others and promoted awareness on the issue of sexual assault.
Melissa is excited about her career as a firefighter and her role as a new team member. We are equally excited about her background as we continue to improve the services offered by our Team. Please join us in welcoming Melissa to Charleston and to our Team.
