On Monday, October 17th, Capt. Kenny Sott of the Summerville Fire Department suffered a medical emergency after returning home from working out with the Summerville recruits. Fire and EMS were dispatched, and he was transported to the Summerville Medical Center where he passed away.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 21, 2022, beginning at 4:00 p.m., at the Bethany United Methodist Church in Summerville.
