“Hats off” (no pun intended) to the Lowcountry Fire Wives as they continue to work on their current project of making sock hats for firefighters undergoing chemotherapy or other cancer treatment. These sock hats come in tan or black and both have reflective yellow stripes. This project is intended to support our local firefighters and the efforts of the International Firefighter Cancer Foundation in its mission.
The next meeting of the Lowcountry Fire Wives will be held on Thursday, April 16th, beginning at 10:00 a.m., at the Lowcountry Firefighter Support Team office at 6390 Dorchester Road in North Charleston. All firefighter wives, fiances, and significant others are invited to attend!
