Dear Friends:
WE NEED YOUR HELP. We are honored to provide a program of emotional support and behavioral health care for all our firefighters and EMS personnel and their families. We are very frugal when it comes to operational expenses but we do need financial support to sustain our program. We raise money through fundraising events such as our annual golf tournament, Steel Pony Car Show, BBQs, and other events and we invite all of you to watch for announcement of these events.
This past week, in an interview with a local TV station, I was asked if our program was in danger of closing down. I assured them, and I assure you, that our program is sustained in the hearts and minds of our nearly forty team members and we will keep this program alive regardless of our financial status. That being said, we do need your support to grow and improve our Team.
We started this GoFund Me page earlier this week and we have a “Click and Pledge” link on our website at www.firefightersupport.org. Many people have responded to these sites this week and I am asking that you join them.
