Next Tuesday evening, at 8:00 p.m., Lee Hopkins, our Pee Dee Team Coordinator, and I will host a Facebook Live segment on “Suicide in our Emergency Services Family”. It is our intent to create a forum to discuss the ever-increasing problem of losing our co-workers and friends at their own hands. This is not a comfortable subject nor is it easy to talk about but Lee and I think that we all need to be more proactive in helping those that are experiencing a dark time in their lives. Between now and next Tuesday, we will be posting videos and articles on our Facebook pages to create a thought process to facilitate this discussion. Please take the time to watch the attached video and plan to join us Tuesday night.
