The last two days have been a most rewarding experience as our Team presented its’ Peer Team Training program in the Goose Creek City Fire Department’s training room located in their new headquarters fire station. First, it is an amazing facility and by far a state-of-the-art classroom. Our sincere gratitude goes to Chief Steve Chapman and all his personnel who graciously welcomed us into their new home. I’m sure it will enhance the training experience for many folks for years to come as we are already looking forward to being there again.
This class was the most diverse group we have ever had in attendance. Firefighters, EMS personnel, retired law enforcement, fire wives, EMS wives, 911 telecommunicators, and emergency services educators representing eleven different South Carolina counties brought their very best classroom to make this a great learning experience for us
Thanks to each of you that attended and to all of our Team members, peers, clinicians, and chaplains who brought their expertise into the classroom as instructors.
And last, but not least, thanks to our GCCFD friends and friends and supporters, John and Margaret Wilcox for preparing lunch for us on both days.
