Yesterday, I attended our bi-monthly meeting with the development team at the MUSC Center for Firefighter Behavioral Health as we continue our work to expand the www.pocketpeer.org phone app as well as other additions to the Helping Heroes program.  Specifically, we are moving along with the development of a new spousal and family support module to be used by our firefighters and their families in improving their everyday lives.  We are excited that many of our firefighter wives will be joining us in the creation of this module. More information will follow in the coming days.

Special thanks to Tatiana Davidson, Tonya Rivers Hazelton, Angela Moreland-Johnson, Kenneth Ruggiero, Jennifer Winkelmann, April Borkman, Leigh Ridings and Olivia Eilers and all the others at MUSC who are dedicating their amazing talent and knowledge to this program that promises to improve the lives of our firefighters and their families for years to come.
