It is with a great deal of sadness that we share the news of the passing of Chief George Tittle, Jr., of the Folly Beach Department of Public Safety. Chief Tittle was a long-time member of the Charleston County Sheriff’s Department before retiring and taking the helm at Folly Beach. He was a good friend and an avid supporter of all first responders and our Team. Our condolences go out to his family in their time of loss. Thank you, Chief, for your commitment to our community and to us all. May you rest in peace.
