I must tell you that this one hits close to home. We just received news that Chief Tim Cobb of the Piedmont Park Fire Department in the Upstate passed away today. Chief Cobb was a true Fire Service Leader, a mentor to many, and a friend to all. He and I shared an unusual friendship since we only saw each other a few times a year but he always treated me with the utmost of respect, as I did him. He was a huge supporter of all that our Team stands for and we are all better for having him in our lives. Rest in peace dear friend, until we meet again.
