Today, I attended the regular bi-monthly meeting of the development team for the Center for Firefighter Behavioral Health at MUSC. I continue to be excited as this program grows under the guidance of some wonderful people that serve on this Team. In our meeting, we went over all our information collected in our recent Fire Wives Focus Groups held in Charleston and in Lake City. We are thankful for the wives who made the focus groups successful and we think you will be pleased with the final results when it becomes part of the pocketpeer.org program.
We also continue to work on our new team pamphlets and the content of our website that we hope to have launched soon. We also made plans to be present at fire service meetings and conferences in the coming year to present the content and the mission for the Center for Firefighter Behavioral Health. Special thanks to our team members; Ken Ruggerio, Angela Moreland, Tatiana Davidson, Tonya Hazelton, Jennifer Winkelmann, Leigh Ridings, April Borkman, Paige Ramsey, and Olivia Eilers, as we move forward with this project. Your contributions to the success of this program are being felt and appreciated.
