Lowcountry Retired Firefighters “Hooked Up” Program Launches New Facebook Page!!

The Lowcountry Retired Firefighters “Hooked Up” program has launched a new Facebook Page.  The “Hooked Up” program is being sponsored by the Lowcountry Firefighter Support Team and the page is being created to post information for the interest of the retired men and women of the Fire Service in our community. The term “Hooked Up” is familiar to our firefighters as an all important question on the fireground to be sure we are hooked up and have water to fight a fire. We have coined the phrase to promote that our Team will attempt to keep our retirees “hooked up” with information in today’s Fire Service and to thank them for their contributions to the Fire Service throughout their careers.

We will post events, news stories, and other information that are of concern to them as retirees.  We will also support any other organizations in the community that offer programs or events in support of our retirees.

We are fortunate to have many retirees from other states who move to the coast of South Carolina after retirement and we welcome all of you to join this page. We are planning an event in the coming months to include all of you and ask that you follow this page for more information.
