This morning David Reindollar and Gerald Mishoe of our Team participated in the Fire Chief’s Medical School 2018 at Roper Hospital.
The program was offered to provide information to participants on NFPA 1582. Subjects included “Preventative Cardiology for the Fire Service”, “Cancer in The Fire Service, What the Research is Telling Us”, “Firehouse Workouts: What Works, and How to Avoid Getting Hurt in the Process”, and “Firehouse Cuisine: Healthy Cooking in the Station Kitchen”. We provided our contribution by presenting on “Firefighter Behavioral Health, Overcoming the Stigma”.
This was an interesting change of pace and provided excellent information on the subjects presented. Thanks to all that made it a success.
