I purposely took a few days after our Summit to think about all that our Team has done in the last six months to put this event together. What started as a conference call last year between many in our Team leadership led to our first Summit in Lake City. While it was deemed a success by those in attendance, we knew we needed to work harder and smarter to improve on our first try. Our attendees went from 69 last year to 196 this year and they provided the heart of our day.
Our Team members rose to the challenge this year in grand fashion and I want to thank them for their hard work. David, Lee, Avery, Andy, Teresa, Marci-Jo, Drea, Ben, Steve, Johnny, Nancy, Amanda, Emily, Michelle, Ben, Todd, Kelly, Karen, Rick, April, Jeremiah, Angel, and Bill showed what our Team is about and, without them, this event would not have been possible.
We would also like to thank all of you that participated as an exhibitor as you certainly brought your best to add to the event. Additionally, we thank Motley Rice Law Firm of Mount Pleasant for their sponsorship by providing the venue that was perfect for this event, Moe’s Southwest Grill and Domino’s Pizza that fed us all sponsored by the Electromedical Products International Company in Mineral Wells, Texas, and Marci-Jo Mishoe and Teresa Hogg of our Team who loaded us down with desserts. We are pretty sure no one went home hungry.
And, without question, our speakers provided an amazing forum for information, networking and discussion that made the day complete. And last, but not least, Nox and Boomer, our Team therapy dogs, for making our guests feel welcome.
Now, work begins on next year’s Summit for we have raised the bar high. We promise to work to bring you all another great Summit in 2020. Stay tuned for details in the coming months. We are excited about the possibilities!
