Our Team is blessed to have many dedicated members who give of themselves to help make us successful.  While our peer team members and our clinicians are there to provide support and counseling for our emergency services personnel and their families, we have so many others that give of their time to support our mission.  Some even wear two hats, either peer team member or clinician and then volunteering to help those in the community supported by our Team.   Whether a parade, public event, fundraiser for another charitable organization, driving our old trucks for weddings or funerals, or showing up to help us work on our fire trucks, we simply could not do it without all their help.

Today, was a perfect example as several of our teammates came together to provided parking services for The Point Women’s Group on the Sea Islands at their annual Oyster Roast and Chili Cookoff on Wadmalaw Island.  They use their money to support so many wonderful and deserving charities in including cancer treatment and research at the MUSC Women’s Cancer Center, The Blessing Basket, Meals on Wheels, Lowcountry Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy, our Team as well as many others.

Today’s event was successful by all counts including the nearly 300 vehicles we parked for the afternoon festivities.  Thanks to The Point for letting us be a part of this great event and special thanks to our Teammates, Sherie Corbett, Lori Gant, G-Man, Savannah Wall and Captain Earl Matthews for their hard work!
