The ultimate goal of the Step up and Step Out program is to save lives. Unfortunately we have suffered another suicide in our state. I took a ride in the country this afternoon, enjoyed the weather, and was doing some thinking. We have definitely made a difference in a lot of lives with this program, but to be honest, until we get everyone on board and quit calling people weak or that person is just wanting attention, our program can’t do it alone. So for all of these hard ass firefighters and paramedics that think you walk on water and belittle people who struggle…Why don’t you QUIT!?If all you can do is bitch, find a job in a factory! QUIT being a bully! Maybe instead of patting yourself on the back all the time,do something that will really make you feel good! Save a brother or sister from SUICIDE! This may seem harsh….it’s meant to be!
