Childhood Cancer Sucks Ride Benefits:
-Clay Dixon is a 15 year old boy battling brain cancer. He was diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma, a devastating brain tumor. The tumor is a vine that has wrapped itself around the inside of his brain stem- it is inoperable and considered to be terminal.
-Nate also like Clay has DIPG, a type of tumor that starts in the brain stem, the part of the brain just above the neck and connected to the spine. The brain stem controls breathing, heart rate, & the nerves and muscles that help us see, hear, walk, talk, and eat.
-Conor McManus is a 11 year old boy with neurofibromatosis, with extensive tumors in his head, face, neck, brain, orbits, and possibly spine.
