Today, we were able to have lunch at the Swig and Swine on Savannah Highway with our amazing and beloved team member Amanda Custer.  Amanda retired in February after 28 years with the Department of Mental Health, eleven of those as a clinician on our Team.  She was one of the first to be tasked with putting a team together to take care of our firefighters and their families following the Sofa Super Store fire and many of you, and many of us, have been fortunate to receive her counsel.   When Amanda retired she decided to continue to be our teammate and she was “redshirted” to help us take our Team into the future. She now serves as a trainer and a consultant as our Team continues to grow and we couldn’t be more pleased.  Thank you, Amanda, for all that you do for us all as we look forward to the future.
