This past Friday we hosted the Horry County Fire Rescue’s Recruit Class. We have each of their recruit classes travel here to spend the day with us when they are nearing the completion of their training.
Our day started out in our Team’s classroom with NCFD Captain Christan Rainey presenting his Men Against Domestic Violence program to the recruits. After lunch, we accompanied them to the North Charleston Fire Museum for a tour before traveling to the Charleston 9 Memorial Park to share with them our personal thoughts of our fallen brothers. Special thanks to CFD Battalion Chief Greg Chesher for sharing his memories of his nine friends.
