Today, I watched an example of those who are our unsung heroes. They respond when we call for them, to lend a hand, and to support us. A fitting example came today when Captain Justin Driggers and his crew of North Charleston Fire Department Truck 205 showed up to repair the lanyard of our flagpole. Simply said, we proudly fly our American flag and our SC State flag in front of our building. We really needed to replace the flags as they were pretty worn. When attempting to do so, the rope broke, and the flags were stuck. A quick phone call to Captain Driggers and they arrived in a brief time to fix the problem. As I watched them work, I was reminded of how many times others have come to our aid when we were in need. Thank you, Brothers, for reminding me how much all of you are a part of what we do.
