This past Friday evening, we traveled to Society Hill, South Carolina to present the “Living and Loving with a Firefighter” program to Darlington County firefighters and their spouses. We were treated to a wonderful dinner before our presentation in the lodge at Moree’s Sportman’s Retreat on the Pee Dee River with more than forty people in attendance.

This program is one of the trainings offered by our state F.A.S.T. Team and is designed to be taught by husband and wife teams. I was honored and pleased to teach this class for the first time with my MoJo. We have been together now for almost thirty-two years and this s the first time we have taught together. I am already looking forward to the next opportunity.

Special thanks to Chief Kenny Stratton and his wife, Pam, the Darlington County firefighters and their spouses for their hospitality and warm welcome and to our state F.A.S.T Leader Patti Johns and Midlands Region Coordinator Lee Hopkins and his wife, April for their attendance and support.
