This morning a large group of people came together to honor one of our own. The Exhibit Hall in the North Charleston American LaFrance Fire Museum was renamed in honor of Jonathan David Kennedy, known to most of you. Jonathan, who passed away earlier this year at the age of 31, was the son of NCFD Capt. Gerald Kennedy and Paula Kennedy. He was one of the most avid Fire Service supporters ever to be a part of our lives. Jonathan epitomized all that is right in the Fire Service. Loyalty, brotherhood, dedication and enthusiasm are all words that come to mind when we think of Jonathan and we are all better for his being in our lives.
