Last week was a whirlwind of activity! Five training classes delivered, BBQ and golf tournament fundraisers completed and over 100 personal contacts with first responders done.

This week is shaping up to be another busy one as we delivered the final two classes in the series to the MPFD yesterday, hosted our bi-monthly Bible Study group Monday night before hitting the road to participate with in-service training for our Orangeburg EMS friends today, Wednesday and Thursday. Tomorrow, we will visit with the Orangeburg County 911 Center with our Team Coordinator Michelle Brown, as well to present them weighted blankets form our Operation Zzz program.

Tonight, our Team’s Pee Dee Coordinator, Lee Hopkins, attended the Pee Dee Firefighters’ Association meeting in Kingstree to discuss a special program planned for their region in the Fall. It’s shaping up to be another great week to get to see many of our friends. It is amazing to watch the folks on our Team work.

We are actively recruiting new members so send us a message at www.firefightersupport.org if you are interested in being involved.
