On Thursday, April 5th, we held our organizational meeting for our new 911 Telecommunicators Support Team with twenty-one participants attending in person or by conference call. These twenty-one people represented ten different counties and we were excited about the interest shown. Thanks to all of them for their commitment and interest in developing this initiative.

We will be sending out membership applications to all who participated tonight in hopes they all will formally join us. We are actively recruiting others who have an interest in this Team so watch our Facebook page for more information coming soon.

We will be also putting together the Team’s organizational structure and we are working on getting training scheduled for our new members. Stay tuned for more news as this Team develops.
