In our mission of taking care of the emotional health and well-being of our firefighters, EMS personnel, 911 telecommunicators, and their families, we continue to evaluate our services daily.  While responding to those we serve during difficult calls and other distressing events in their lives, we strive to be proactive in providing programs and support to help them prepare them before the “bad calls” come.

We are always open to suggestions and/or recommendations to how we can do that better.  Our “Step Up & Step Out” Suicide Prevention program is important as an educational tool to be sure you all know the warning signs that someone may be thinking about taking their own lives so that an intervention can be offered.

Our “Operation Zzz” weighted blanket program is a time consuming initiative that is making huge differences in the lives of those we have helped.  We know that sleep deprivation is a serious problem with those of you that suffer with anxiety, depression, and/or post traumatic stress disorder and that a weighted blanket is only a tool to help you get better sleep.   We believe that if we can provide you a method to get better sleep, it will enhance your ability to function normally therefore, lessening the effects of your anxiety and/or PTSD.   There are some requirements for qualifying for a blanket so send us a message or call (843) 609-8300 if you have any questions.
