Tonight, we are asking for all of you to join us in keeping our girl, Chastity Bigney, in your thoughts and prayers. Many of you know that she had difficulty last year with a cancer diagnosis but bravely underwent treatment to get a good outcome. Unfortunately, she has experienced a recurrence and had surgery today. All signs are positive at this point as she, Todd, Skylar, and Ty await the results.
Chastity has been instrumental in so many of our lives and our Team. Whether helping with the restoration of “Big John”, being our teammate and friend, and for some time, our Training Coordinator, or staying strong for her friends and fellow firefighters during the transition of the Old Fort Fire Department to Dorchester County Fire Rescue, all while being a great Mom and Wife, she has always shown what a wonderful human being she is. And, as Todd says, “she is one in a million”! We love you Chaz! Keep the faith…
