On Wednesday night, several members of our Team participated in a focus group with the MUSC Center for Firefighter Behavioral Health to review the progress of the new Spouse and Family Support module to be added soon to the pocketpeer.org program available online for supporting our firefighters and their families. Special thanks to Tatiana Davidson and Tonya Hazelton of the Center and to our Team clinician Amanda Custer for participating with us tonight.
Tomorrow night, we will have the same meeting with firefighter spouses as they take their second look at the program. These focus groups have been instrumental in the development of the pocketpeer.org program. Any and all fire wives are invited to attend. The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. at the office of the Lowcountry Firefighter Support Team located at 6390 Dorchester Road in North Charleston. Child care will be provided. We hope you will join us!
