We are excited to welcome our friend Nancy Paul to our Team as our new Research and Development Intern.  Nancy began her career in emergency services in New York City in 1988 where she was a paramedic for three years. She moved to South Carolina in 1991, first working in the MUSC Meducare transport system before joining joined Berkeley County EMS in 1992 where she is now employed as a Paramedic.

Nancy holds a bachelor’s degree in Disaster and Emergency Management from Columbia College and is currently enrolled in a Master’s program where she will complete her degree in Organizational Leadership in 2019.  Her current degree program requires her to complete an internship and we all will benefit by her being a part of our Team.

Nancy’s duties will include assisting our Grants Coordinator with compiling information on available grants through private, corporate, state, and federal agencies, researching online resources to include websites, podcasts, webinars, etc. that can support our mission, working with other organizations in the community with which we can partner with to improve our services, research information on training and professional development seminars and conferences available for our Team members and assisting the Team’s leadership with the planning of conferences, workshops, and other events hosted by the Team.
