We are pleased to announce that Reece Welch of Orangeburg County EMS has joined our Team as a Region Coordinator.   Reece joins our Lowcountry EMS Support Team and brings his expertise to our firefighter and 911 support teams as well.  Reece is the Training Officer of Orangeburg County EMS and is well-known in the emergency services of South Carolina.  Reece’s presence will help us close a gap between our Savannah River and Pee Dee Regions to assist our Region Coordinators Andy and Theresa Hogg and Lee Hopkins on either side of him. He will be able to respond down the interstate towards Charleston if the need arises.

Reece is well-known and respected by us as we have worked with him closely in the classroom and during some difficult times for Orangeburg County.  He is also the Compliance Officer for Orangeburg County EMS, a nationally registered Paramedic, and a respected instructor in our State’s EMS circles.

Reece joins our other EMS Region Coordinators, Kevin Gwyer in Florence County, Laura Stephenson in Berkeley County, Jared Hershberger in Charleston County, and April Miller in Dorchester County who provide an important connection to our EMS brothers and sisters around the Lowcountry.

Please join us in welcoming Reece to our Team.
